Den has been instrumental in driving employee involvement and advocacy at various big brands in the travel and leisure sector, specialising in digital transformation and brand immersion. He believes the gold standard communication channel is face-to-face, and that digital channels should support and encourage real life conversations, not diminish them.
Having led award-winning teams through change programmes, Den joined British Airways in 2018. His broad remit includes helping leaders embrace the direct link between employee engagement, customer satisfaction and operational performance, as well as rebuilding the airline’s digital workplace from the ground up. During its 101st year, 2020 will see the introduction of the first of many seamless colleague-facing virtual assistants take centre stage in BA’s colleague experience.
